Stair Bar for Increased Safety

Estimated reading time 3 min. Published 15.09.2020
Stairs can be both difficult and dangerous to climb without good support. In this article we'll look at the stair bar AssiStep, and how it can increase safety and support for you or your loved ones.

What is the AssiStep Stair Bar?

The stair bar AssiStep is a brand new and revolutionary product that makes it simpler to climb stairs, as well as providing increased support and safety. The AssiStep brings value to you by offering a firm and solid handle that is moved along an innovative and patented railing system.

The railing system for the AssiStep stair bar is made out of stainless steel and anodized aluminium, which means that it will both provide grip and support to those who only need to use a solid handrail, and increased support to those who enjoy the benefits of the additional handle.

How does the AssiStep work?

Descending

As the video shows, the AssiStep is moved down the stairs by slightly lifting the outer section of the handle. You can then push it one arm length in front of you. When force is applied to the handle, it automatically locks in place, ensuring that you can descend the staircase at your own pace.

Ascending

When ascending the stairs, the AssiStep is pushed up along the railing system. When the handle is pulled downwards, it automatically locks into position, providing increased support and safety while ascending the stairs. For each step you climb, you typically push the handle one arm length in front of you to create sufficient distance between yourself and the handle.
